2022 FACA CLE Seminar

Registration is open for the 2022 Florida Association of County Attorneys CLE Seminar which will take place on June 29-30, 2022 in Orange County.  The CLE seminar will be held as an in-person event only.  For those FACA members unable to attend in person, the CLE seminar will be recorded in its entirety and available to all 2022 FACA members in July. 

The CLE will consist of 13 general and CCLG certification credits with 1 hour of ethics and 1 hour of  professionalism credit being granted by the Florida Bar.

You can register for the event by logging into your FAC portal HERE, choose the Events tab at the top of the page and scroll down to “2022 FACA Annual CLE Seminar.”  The DRAFT Agenda can be viewed by clicking HERE.  This year we will welcome back the Welcome Reception which will take place immediately following the conclusion of Day 1 of the seminar on Wednesday afternoon.  The Awards Luncheon will take place on Thursday at 12:30 pm and the ever popular Ice Cream Break will take place during the Thursday afternoon refreshment break.   

Under FAC’s hotel room booking process, hotel booking information will be sent, via email, to registrants AFTER you have registered for the seminar.  If you wish to register for the FAC Annual Conference & Education Exposition, please do so at that time as well.  This process ensures that the hotel room block remains available for seminar and/or conference registrants and will hopefully prevent the block from selling out so quickly.  The 2-night minimum DOES NOT apply for the 2021 FACA Annual CLE Seminar registrants.  The hotel rate for the FAC Conference/FACA Annual CLE Seminar will be $179.00 per night.  In case the room block is sold out at the time of registration, here is the link to the 10 closest hotels to the Orlando Convention Center/Hyatt Regency Orlando.  If you would like for your name to be added to the wait list for the Hyatt, please email Emily Anderson at eanderson@flcounties.com. 

For more information regarding the Hyatt Regency Orlando, please click HERE.  The earlier you register, the better your chances are of securing a room at the host hotel.  We do not know the exact date on which the hotel block will sell out and are unable to guarantee reservations for anyone, so please REGISTER EARLY.  The FAC Annual Conference will feature some exciting key-note speakers, including Jim Cantore with The Weather Channel and Rear Admiral Peter Cressy, as well as educational workshops all relevant to aspects of local government.  

As always, there is NO registration fee for FACA members.  The fee for non-members, paralegals/legal assistants and law students/interns are as follows:

Non-Member: $195
Paralegals/Legal Assistants:$75
Law Students/Interns: $25
